Danes bolniška

It is the same with bowing 108 times. At first people don't like this. Why do we bow? We are not bowing to Buddha, we are bowing to ourselves. Small I is bowing to Big I. Then Small I disappears and becomes Big I. This is true bowing

Čeprav me je že sinoči dobro začela kuhat vročina, sem, trmast kot vedno, vstal ob 3.00 in opravil vseh 108 prostracij - resda me je proti koncu že krepko zanašalo, ampak nisem hotel popustit na sredini in jih dokončat stoje... obstaja tudi ta možnost, če iz kakršnihkoli razlogov ne moreš opravit polnih prostracij, jih nadomestiš s stoječimi prikloni. Zmrazilo pa me je ob misli na petje - v ledeno hladni Buddha dvorani... Wu Bong ni prav nič kompliciral, ko sem se opravičil in odpujsal nazaj pod toplo odejo.
Včeraj zvečer pa... Po petju ponavadi sledi sedeči zen, vendar mi je Wu Bong povedal, da imajo ob torkih "long house meeting" in teče beseda o tempeljskih zadevah, zato mi ni potrebno bit prisoten, da se pa lahko pridružim po 19.15. Seveda sem se pridružil in naletel na kar precej šokantno sliko v jedilnici: družinske doze kokakole, pečejo se kokice, odpirajo razne slane palčke, čipsi in podobna svojat, menihovje poležava na blazinah in se maltene krega: House Master in njegov pomočnik navijata za češko komedijo, opat vztraja, da je Kung Fu Panda boljši - litvanec Wu Bong, sicer boksar in mojster vsaj 10 borilnih veščin, pa že veselo oponaša Pando in skače po jedilnici... Kam sem to padel? V torkov filmski večer... Na koncu ima nekdo debilen preblisk in predlaga demokratično glasovanje o tem, kateri film bomo gledali - seveda potem gledamo in se deprimiramo ob filmu The Mission... pa ne za dolgo, folk kar odkapljuje, z mojo vročino vred, s tem da sem jaz prej pojedel vse čipse z okusom kimcheeja.
Danes torej lenarim in sem v skladišču brskal za kakšno knjigo. Prava knjižnica se nahaja v Zen stavbi, jaz pa sem raje lenobno samo odpujsal po hodniku do naslednjih vrat, kjer je nekaj knjig na policah, najbrž mi ni potrebno razlagat, o čem je večina knjig... sem mi je pa zasmejalo in poznam nekoga, ki se bo tudi nasmejal, ko bo zagledal 4 knjige na spodnji levi polici... mislim, da se jih da prepoznat po hrbtišču, mar ne?

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
when practicing deeply the Prajna Paramita
perceives that all five skandhas are empty
and is saved from all suffering and distress.

Shariputra,
form does not differ from emptiness,
emptiness does not differ from form.
That which is form is emptiness,
that which is emptiness form.

The same is true of feelings,
perceptions, impulses, consciousness.

Shariputra,
all dharmas are marked with emptiness;
they do not appear or disappear,
are not tainted or pure,
do not increase or decrease.

Therefore, in emptiness no form, no feelings,
perceptions, impulses, consciousness.

No eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind;
no color, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch,
no object of mind;
no realm of eyes
and so forth until no realm of mind consciousness.

No ignorance and also no extinction of it,
and so forth until no old age and death
and also no extinction of them.

No suffering, no origination,
no stopping, no path, no cognition,
also no attainment with nothing to attain.

The Bodhisattva depends on Prajna Paramita
and the mind is no hindrance;
without any hindrance no fears exist.
Far apart from every perverted view one dwells in Nirvana.

In the three worlds
all Buddhas depend on Prajna Paramita
and attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.

Therefore know that Prajna Paramita
is the great transcendent mantra,
is the great bright mantra,
is the utmost mantra,
is the supreme mantra
which is able to relieve all suffering
and is true, not false.
So proclaim the Prajna Paramita mantra,
proclaim the mantra which says:

gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha
gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha
gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha.
